EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

Ø       Must have STCW 95 Certification

Ø       Outgoing personality performer who is comfortable in front of an audience

Ø        Creative  professional appearance with excellent social skills

Ø       Team player

Ø       Ability to perform well under pressure

Ø       Well organized and strong sales ability

Ø       Applications: Windows XP, including Word, Excel

SOME POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø      The Shore Excursion Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the tour desk.

Ø      Responsible for the overall operation of the tour desk, including sales, dispatch and maintenance of all applicable promotional materials.

Ø      Communicate with tour operators regarding counts and services required.

Ø       Complete all necessary administrative duties required, i.e., account balancing, invoice collection, and various Shore Excursion reports.

Ø       Assist the Cruise Staff with activities when needed.

Ø      Mingle with guests during operational hours and maintain a professional image at all times.

Ø      Assist the Cruise Director in overall operation of the department.

Ø      Create and implement ideas that will generate/increase revenue and/or reduce costs to the company.

Other related duties as assigned.
