Assistant Electrician

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

Ø       Must have STCW 95 Certification

Ø       Holds appropriate licenses and certificates as required by
             regulations.

Ø       Applications: Windows XP, including Word, Excel

SOME POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø      The Assistant Electrician is responsible for assisting the Chief Electrician or Electrician with all electrical work.

Ø       Assist the Chief Electrician or Electrician with all electrical work such as installation, maintenance, repair of wirings circuitry and other related electrical equipment.

Ø       Responsible for the safety, cleanliness and operation of their area.

Ø       Attend all department meetings.

Ø       Mandatory attendance at all assigned shipboard drills and emergency activities.

Ø      Create and implement ideas that will generate/increase revenue and/or reduce costs to the company.

Ø       Other related duties as assigned.
