Assistant A/C Engineer

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

Ø       Must have STCW 95 Certification

Ø       Holds appropriate licenses and certificates as required by regulations.

Ø       Applications: Windows XP, including Word, Excel

SOME POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø       The Assistant A/C Engineer is responsible to the A/C Engineer for the maintenance and repair of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Systems, and Ice Machines

Ø      Assist in maintaining the operation and repairs of the A/C plant and all refrigeration units along with all ice makers.

Ø       Maintain the temperature of all refrigerator units.

Ø       Assist in maintaining the working condition of all ice machines.

Ø      Responsible for the inspections, repairs and cleanliness of all fan room areas and equipment.

Ø       Attend all department meetings.

Ø       Mandatory attendance at all assigned shipboard drills and emergency activities.

Create and implement ideas that will generate/increase revenue and/or reduce costs to the company.

Other related duties as assigned.
